Comic Sans Protest Poster (Design Timeline Project)
A protest poster defending the most hated font in design history. Created for a design timeline project, this piece combines research on Comic Sans (created by Vincent Connare in 1994) with the visual language of political activism. The comic book aesthetic and raised fist imagery create an intentionally ironic defense of a typeface that was designed to be friendly and accessible, but became notorious among designers. Sometimes bad taste deserves good design.
